Architecture
Why it works this way.
Extension
Onboarding and session sync
Extracts your LinkedIn session cookie, registers your sender profile, and keeps the token in sync automatically.
You
Build a campaign
Define sequence steps in the web app: connect, message, like, comment. Set delays and conditions. Add leads.
Desktop
Agent polls every 60 seconds
Claims pending commands, launches a headless browser with your session cookie, and executes the API call. Writes the result back.
Cloud
Schedules, executes, and closes the loop
Fires every 5 minutes to queue due actions, respects per-sender rate limits, then automatically processes results and advances the sequence.
FAQ
Common questions.
Q.01
Why do I need a desktop app?
LinkedIn detects and kills sessions that make API calls from datacenter IPs (AWS, GCP, etc.). The desktop agent runs on your machine with your residential IP, making requests indistinguishable from normal browser usage.
Q.02
Does my computer need to stay on?
Yes, but you can close your browser. The desktop agent runs in the background as a system tray application. It only needs an internet connection and the machine to be awake.
Q.03
Will this get my LinkedIn account flagged?
The architecture is designed to minimize risk. Actions execute from your IP, use your real browser fingerprint, respect daily rate limits, and include randomized delays. Zero accounts flagged across our alpha users.
Q.04
What does the extension do exactly?
The extension securely reads your LinkedIn session cookie when you're logged in, and registers your sender profile with your OLA account. It's only active during onboarding. After setup, the desktop agent handles everything.
Q.05
Can I run multiple LinkedIn accounts?
Yes. Each team member adds their own LinkedIn sender via the extension. The agent handles multiple senders, respecting per-sender rate limits independently.
Q.06
Is this just for businesses?
No. OLA works for individuals, creators, and job seekers too. See our use cases for how consumers leverage the platform for networking, job outreach, and personal brand growth.
